Seed 2.0

Only in America would a President go on TV and collaborate with the lead singer of The Roots to send a message to the students of America that he is looking out for their welfare!!! If you don’t know what I am talking about either you have not managed to procrastinate productively or you have been hidden from the internet for the past two days.  This just would not happen in England; David Cameron singing with Westlife on Loose Women, would be nowhere near be as cool, or gain as much political support. Sir Robert Peel, founder of the Conservative as we know it,  would be rolling in his grave if Cameron would dare juxtapose his political obligations with this pandering to the needs of the lower classes. I think it would have been more of a Gordon 'I am working class I am' Brown.

Today’s song is going to come from The Roots. They are one of those bands that have been around for ages, adjusting their style to stay with ‘what’s hip’ but managing to avoid being played by the DJ at Moshe Goldstein’s Bar mitzvah.  The band started off in the backstreets of Philadelphia, the home of hip hop as claimed by the Fresh-Prince. Over the years the band has chopped and changed and have included beat boxer Rahzel, the guy who can Rap and sing ‘at the same time,’ and Scott Storch who is responsible for AKON and other such nebachs.

The song is Called Seed 2.0 and is a mixture of rock, hip-hop and soul which will tastefully delight your musical pallet and is instantly likeable, enjoy.

I hope this post  provided you with an adequate procrastination material .
